St. Augustine
St. Augustine, the nation’s oldest city, lies to the north of Palm Coast and The Hammock. Initially explored by Ponce de Leon and eventually founded by Spanish settlers in 1565, St. Augustine is home to countless historic sites and a number of museums, art galleries, exquisite restaurants and family attractions.
Enjoy a stroll downtown and admire the Spanish architecture and views of the bay, take a tour of the city by trolley, or shop at all the little boutique stores on and around St. George Street.
